    Day 5: Power, Higher

    Things are looking up!

The trash from yesterday was picked up by someone, including the gray tote bin from Wednesday that I brought out of the woods and set by a trash can. I’d previously returned the Dollar General basket to the nearest Dollar General. And today, the sun came out!

Now, I have to admit to cheating a bit this morning: I had some Duber (Dad Uber) duties to do, so my walk was an hour later than usual, which means more time for the sun to come up. I’ll take it.

Other than that hiccup, I’ve been on track all week. The weather has made the lack of disc golf easier to take (there might very well some left-handed backyard putting in the cards today though), and I’m already starting to feel fitter.

    Week one done!

(I’ll be following the rules on weekends, just not posting photos – see you Monday.)

    Day 3: I’m Sensing a Theme

Anyhow… progress is good. Hitting all my goals for far.

    How about you?

    Day 2: Nature’s Bounty

“What’s that going in around the corner from the electric tower by the river?… Couldn’t be another… Could it?…”

    Yes. Yes it could.

    Day 1: Power

Ok gang, time for a little New Years Four-Week Reboot. (And a new blog section on my website – welcome!)

    Rules:

    1. No (right-handed) disc golf for four weeks. I strained my elbow back in August doing bad field work and the tendonitis is not going away on its own. Duh. Rest.

    2. Every day before 9:00 AM:

    • Calisthenics and stretching
    • Healthy breakfast
    • 40-minute walk in the same new woods
    • 1 photo, regardless of quality, phone camera only

    3. Every day after 9:00 AM:

    • Get to work
    • Drink full pitcher of water by supper time

    4. Journal here for solidarity and accountability.
